World leading workshop fitting company

MAHA Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH & Co. KG was founded by Winfried Rauch in 1969. Mr Rauch had an extraordinary intuition for what customers needed and how these needs were changing at any given time. This enabled him to break new ground in numerous aspects of workshop fitting. We have stayed true to this mindset over the years as our business has grown. As a company that pioneers and inspires, we enjoy exploring new avenues. Our knowledge and creativity allow us to lead the market. To this day, the MAHA team implements innovative ideas for an extensive range of customer requirements, with a commitment to providing quality, flexibility, reliability and value for money.

In December 2011, the company was transformed into the charitable foundation and the family foundation of the Rauch family. This allowed the founder Winfried Rauch to safeguard his life’s work and the future of the company group in the long term. While the charitable foundation helps those in need as the result of a technical failure, the family foundation aims to secure the livelihood of present and future generations of the Rauch family.

MAHA is currently considered one of the most accomplished manufacturers of dynamometers, vehicle lifts and test devices. The product range covers applications for car, utility vehicle and agricultural machinery workshops. The products comply with the strictest quality standards. They are reliable and durable and they meet the highest demands.

In addition to hardware, MAHA provides powerful software solutions for test system networking. This is accompanied by consulting services for the planning and implementation of construction projects and efficient direct check-in. The company’s skills thus extend far beyond pure machine engineering.

In total, MAHA employs over 1,200 staff worldwide. Its employees strongly identify with the company’s values and are able to develop in an international environment. The company is represented in over 150 countries, via agencies and its own branch offices. This allows it to provide customers the world over with high-quality testing and lifting equipment. The lean company structures and direct communication channels allow products to be adapted to suit the legislation of each country with great flexibility.

From standard product to customised solution
MAHA’s customers include vehicle workshops, inspection bodies, vehicle manufacturers and governmental organisations. It sees its customers as a source of guidance, inspiration and knowledge. Alongside the extensive standard product ranges in the various segments, the Allgäu workshop fitting company provides customised solutions for individual needs. The products are developed in Germany and produced at the company headquarters in Haldenwang near Kempten or in the nearby manufacturing plants in Allgäu, with a large portion of the components manufactured in-house. This allows high quality standards to be maintained in all product lines. The company’s numerous certifications to international industrial standards are testimony to this.

Professional service and active environmental protection
MAHA makes a point of providing optimum customer care throughout the entire life cycle of the product. Accordingly, the Allgäu workshop fitting company operates its own customer service department. The highly effective team provides installation, servicing, repair and calibration of workshop equipment.

MAHA is also committed to protecting our environment and preventing waste of resources. The company was one of the first workshop fitters to have its energy management system certified to ISO 50001. MAHA is also involved in cross-sector climate-protection initiatives and is active in promoting sustainable business. MAHA has also taken a leading role in climate protection in the workshop fitting sector with the introduction of the energy efficiency label ‘maha green line’.

The company also fulfils its social responsibility with its two foundations and safeguards jobs and training opportunities in the region in the long term.
